Bishops and Rev. Fathers gathered at the Sacred heart Chapel in the Archbishop's House, today, 11th January 2010 to thank God for the committed priestly life of Rev. Fr. H. D. Anthony and Rev. Fr. Mervyn Fernando on the occasion of their golden jubilee of the priestly ordination.

His Grace Archbishop Malcolm Ranjith thanked them for the committed long services to the Archdiocese and for the people of God. His Grace Archbishop Malcolm Ranjith, Archbishop Emeritus Nicholas Marcus Fernando, Archbishop Emeritus Oswald Gomis. Bishop Marius Peiris and several Fathers concelebrated at the Thanking Jubilee Mass.

Rev. Fr. Joe De Mel preached at the Mass appreciating their priestly ministry to the people of God and the example they have set in the Archdiocese.
