The Centenary Jubilee of Periyamulla Our Lady of Snow Church was celebrated in a very grand scale on 21st & 22nd August 2010.

His Grace the Archbishop Most  Rev. Dr. Malcolm Ranjith presided at the Solemn Jubilee Festive Mass together with the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Lester Nonis and other Rev. Fathers present. Periyamulla Parish paid tribute to His Eminence Late Thomas Cardinal Cooray erecting a statue of Cardinal Cooray at the Church premises and His Grace Archbishop Malcolm blessed it and opened it before the Festive Mass.

His Grace the Archbishop addressing the faithful reflected on the saintly life of Cardinal Cooray and appealed to the faithful very especially to pray for the beatification of Cardinal Cooray, who was born in Periyamulla Parish and invited the families to be enlightened and inspired by the holiness of  Cardinal’s life,
