His Grace the Archbishop Oswald Gomis, the Archbishop of Colombo presided at the Solemn Vespers Service at St. Sebastian's Shrine, Kandana on 19th January 2009, together with Very Rev. Fr. Cyril Gamini Fernando, the Epsicopal Vicar for the Northern Region of the Archdiocese and Very Rev. Fr. Priya Jayamanne, the Dean of Kandana Deanery, assisted by Rev. Fr.Mahendra Gunatillake, the Administrator of the Shrine, Rev. Fr. Sumith Roshan Rodrigo and Rev. Fr. Hemantha Fernando, the Assistant Parish Priests.
